My Favorite Coffee Shops in Pensacola

Spread the love

It’s been just over a year since I moved to Pensacola. Between blogging and studying for flight school, I’ve had lots of opportunities to check out the local coffee shops. This post has been a little while in the making, collecting photos each of them. Now feast your eyes on some delicious coffee and baked goods while I take you on a tour of Pensacola’s best!

1. Coffee Guy Cafe

Located on Davis Highway, Coffee Guy Cafe is my favorite local coffee shop in Pensacola. Coffee Guy has a huge selection of lattes and also some teas, smoothies, and other specialty drinks. For food, they offer chicken salad wraps and sandwiches, soups, fruit cups, mini waffles, cake slices, and muffins. You can find their full menu here.

The space is bright and energizing, perfect for studying or getting work done. It’s always seasonally decorated and has the best merchandise. There is also a drive-thru if you’re on the go!

Try the Velma (white chocolate and raspberry latte) or the Strawberries n’ Cream Smoothie.

2. The Drowsy Poet

With multiple locations around the Pensacola area, The Drowsy Poet is another good go-to. It also offers a drive-thru. If you go inside, check out candles and other goods for sale from local small businesses. The lattes there are fantastic, and they usually have additional seasonal flavors to choose from. For food, their menu offers croissant sandwiches, quiches, and baked goods. Try their bread pudding with amaretto sauce. It’s delicious! Full menu here.

3. Fosko Coffee Barre

Fosko is an adorable cafe in the downtown area. Their website is almost as lovely as the cafe itself. If you’re looking for coffee with a meal, Fosko is the place to go. They offer a menu of crepes as well as their baked goods and mini cheesecakes from local favorite Szotski’s. The Foskolina is a favorite amongst my friends. Here’s their full menu.

The vibe is vintage at Fosko, and I love their interior (and exterior) design. With picnic tables out front and a courtyard in the back, it’s the best option if you want to enjoy your coffee outdoors. Even if you take it to-go, you can walk down Palafox and window shop. We love to go on Saturday morning runs downtown, grab Fosko, and walk the Palafox market!

The only downside at Fosko is that it’s always packed! Know before you go that you’ll spend a while there if you order a crepe. You can expect to wait up to 30 minutes since they get so many orders and make them fresh!

4. Bon Beans

Bon Beans is located in Northern Pensacola on Nine Mile Road. A cozy, homey vibe with couches and a selection of games and books to borrow, it reminds me a little of Central Perk from Friends.

The specialty at Bon Beans is their organic options, but they also now offer traditional locally roasted coffees too. If you’re looking for something besides coffee, Bon Beans has the best selection of teas. Try their iced matcha! For food, they have bagels and baked goods, including vegan and gluten-free options. Check out their website here.

Wherever you go, these cafes each have something special to offer. Support local!
